To support our team in St. Gallen, we are immediately seeking a
Property Manager: Caretaker with Cleaning Duties SG (m/f/d) 100%
Your tasks
- You carry out the maintenance cleaning of public and communal areas including the underground car park (parking system / residential and commercial properties) and ensure a high cleaning quality
- Willingness to work a 6-day operation
- You independently conduct technical rounds as well as visual and functional inspections and carefully document any defects found
- You record malfunctions and damages (Digital smart.io App), perform minor repairs, and initiate further measures if necessary
- You reliably coordinate and accompany craftsmen assignments on site
- You professionally maintain the outdoor facilities and green areas and undertake seasonal work, high-pressure cleaning, and winter services
- You regularly inspect playgrounds and ensure immediate reporting and securing in case of safety risks
- You plan and instruct the cleaning staff deployed two days per week and check the work performed
- You attend to tenants, commercial customers, visitors, and craftsmen in a friendly and professional manner
- You organise and prioritise your work independently and ensure reliable follow-up of open reports
- You coordinate cleaning staff, craftsmen, and external service providers
- You carefully handle property-related administration and process phone calls, emails, checklists, reports, and orders
Your profile
- Ideally, you have a craft or technical vocational training
- You bring professional experience in caretaking, cleaning, or property maintenance
- As a skilled all-rounder, you convince with technical understanding, practical skills, and a high quality awareness
- You work independently, structured, and responsibly and recognise technical defects and safety risks early
- With your friendly and service-oriented manner, you communicate professionally with different stakeholders
- You have good organisational skills and keep an overview even with multiple tasks
- You are comfortable using digital work tools and common MS Office applications
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as a category B driving licence are required
- Ideally, you already have training as a safety officer (SiBe) and sprinkler attendant
- You are flexible and willing to undertake winter services and, if necessary, assignments outside regular working hours
