About the job
Your Tasks
- As a specialist caregiver (FaBe), you accompany and support young people, elderly people and people with disabilities in managing everyday life
- You encourage and maintain the independence of clients as far as possible
- You care for adults with impairments individually or in groups in residential and day facilities
- You support clients in performing everyday tasks such as dressing and undressing, washing, brushing teeth, eating and drinking, as well as household chores as independently as possible, or you take over these tasks for clients who are unable to do so
- You structure the daily life and leisure time of clients in a meaningful way
- You support clients in maintaining contact with family and friends
Your Profile
- You have completed the compulsory school period of 9 years with good results
- You have reached the age of majority (18 years)
- You can express yourself well orally and in writing in the German language
- You are interested in working with adults with impairments
- You are a communicative and reliable person and enjoy working in a team
- You are characterised by empathy and good powers of observation
- You have no inhibitions and are willing to support clients with personal care
