These activities will inspire you
- Development and implementation of the corporate strategy in line with the cooperative purpose
- Overall responsibility for operational business (licensing, collection, distribution)
- Leadership, restructuring, and further development of the corporate organization and the management team
- Positioning SUISA nationally and internationally as a high-quality service provider in licensing for copyright
- Proactive action to identify market opportunities and anticipate challenges in this business
- Ensuring the long-term economic stability and competitiveness of the entire company
- Development and leadership of cross-company transformation and
digitalization processes - Balancing different interests of authors and publishers
- Ensuring transparent and fair distribution systems
- Maintaining dialogue with music creators, authors, publishers, as well as
music users and their umbrella organizations - Representing SUISA towards politics, authorities, courts, and the arbitration commission (ESchK) as well as in international umbrella organizations and committees
- Leading or accompanying negotiations on tariffs and licensing conditions with music users and their umbrella organizations (economiesuisse, trade association, Gastrosuisse, SWICO, and others)
What distinguishes you
- Proven several years of strategic and operational leadership experience with overall responsibility for a medium-sized company
- Very good understanding of the financial management of a company
- Experience or at least knowledge in the field of copyright and
licensing in the Swiss and international context - High knowledge in IT governance, technological leadership and development, as well as in digital processes and their optimization
- Experience in the music sector and good networking in the cultural scene
(e.g., publishing or music management) is a great advantage - Innovative, shaping attitude with a constant focus on improving and further developing, combined with extensive business management know-how
- Convincing social skills, high communication and negotiation skills, as well as great talent in stakeholder management
- In-depth experience in change management and organizational development as well as
ability to shape this together with the management team - Team-oriented, cooperative leadership style with motivational power, steering effect, and appropriate delegation behavior
- High cognitive potential, networked thinking, and pronounced skills in complexity management
- Very good language skills in German, French, English, and ideally
other national languages
