Intelligently connect systems and seamlessly integrate complex business processes. Do you want to design modern SAP landscapes, optimise interfaces and productively use cloud technologies? In this role, you develop powerful integration solutions with the SAP Business Technology Platform and drive the digital networking of different applications forward.
Responsibilities:
Design, development and further development of modern SAP integration solutions based on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
Implementation of complex interfaces between SAP systems, cloud applications and external platforms
Development and operation of integration scenarios with the SAP Integration Suite
Design of scalable API and middleware architectures for various business processes
Integration of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP and third-party systems via REST, SOAP, OData and other interface standards
Building reusable integration components and standardised interface concepts
Analysis and resolution of complex integration errors as well as optimisation of performance and stability
Development of automated tests and structured deployment processes for integration artefacts
Implementation of security concepts for APIs, authentication, authorisations and data exchange
Monitoring of interfaces using appropriate monitoring and logging procedures
Technical consulting of specialist departments, SAP teams and external development partners
Participation in integration architecture, cloud transformations and modernisation of existing system landscapes
Creation of technical documentation and ensuring a maintainable integration architecture
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP or SAP Middleware
Sound knowledge in the development and analysis of interfaces
Experience with integration patterns, API design and distributed system architectures
Practical experience with REST, SOAP, OData, JSON and XML
Understanding of SAP landscapes, ideally SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP
Knowledge of authentication and authorisation, for example OAuth 2.0 and certificate management
Experience with interface monitoring, error analysis and performance optimisation
Ideally knowledge of SAP Event Mesh, Cloud Integration or API Management
Programming skills, for example in Groovy, JavaScript or Java, are an advantage
Structured and independent working style as well as pronounced analytical thinking
