Operational Manager German-speaking Switzerland (m/f/d)

Location: Buchs AG, with travel activity in German-speaking Switzerland

In this role, you bear overall operational responsibility for our FTTH and infrastructure projects in the region. You ensure that projects are successfully implemented in terms of quality, safety, deadlines, and cost-effectiveness. In doing so, you maintain and develop sustainable customer and partner relationships, ensure professional and high-quality service delivery, and thus contribute to the long-term success of our company.

Your new role

• Operational management of projects in German-speaking Switzerland

• Leadership, coaching, and development of project managers and their teams

• Responsibility for meeting project goals regarding quality, costs, deadlines, and safety

• Ensuring optimal resource and capacity planning

• Control and supervision of partner companies

• Analysis of project metrics and initiation of measures to improve efficiency and results

• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards

• Support in tender processing and project calculation

• Close cooperation with customers, authorities, partners, and management

• Identification and implementation of optimisation potentials in operational processes

Your profile

• Several years of experience in an operational leadership role in telecommunications, civil engineering, infrastructure, or network construction

• Experience in leading project managers and interdisciplinary teams

• Sound knowledge of the FTTH environment and the Swiss infrastructure market is an advantage

• Entrepreneurial thinking and pronounced cost awareness

• Experience in project management and controlling complex projects

• High personal responsibility and solution-oriented working style

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Confident appearance towards customers, partners, and employees

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage

• Willingness to travel within German-speaking Switzerland
