About the job
Specialist Responsible for Digital Channels 80 - 100%Are you looking for a challenge in the field of politics and administration, with an employer whose topics are as diverse as life itself?
At our General Secretariat of the Directorate of Justice and the Interior (JI), all threads come together. We support the Director and our administrative units with versatile services, process legal remedies, and advise other directorates on draft laws.
In January 2027, the revised Administrative Justice Act will come into force, obliging us to also process our AJA procedures digitally via so-called relevant electronic channels. To accompany the cross-organisational development of these solutions from a legal perspective, we are looking for a lawyer as Specialist Responsible for Digital Channels (80 - 100%) at the General Secretariat of the JI from 1 July 2026 or by arrangement.
Your main tasks
- You formulate, coordinate, prioritise, and consolidate the requirements of our administrative units and the General Secretariat for the central digital channels
- You personally conduct administrative procedures via the digital channels of the General Secretariat (appeals against decisions of our administrative units, especially in prison law; collaboration in the legal remedies department)
- You accompany the further development of the digital channels (new functionalities)
- You keep an overview of the existing and future relevant digital channels of the Directorate.
- You advise and support our administrative units in the further digitalisation of their administrative procedures
Your profile
- You have a completed law degree (MLaw / lic.iur.) and experience in procedural management, preferably under the AJA
- You find it easy to use digital tools. You quickly understand processes and recognise where they can be optimised
- IT practical experience or corresponding expertise is a plus
- You work analytically, structured, and independently
- You have pronounced coordination, conceptual, and communication skills
Our offer
- A versatile, challenging, and meaningful activity in a motivated team
- The opportunity to gain experience and shape digital processes at the interface of constitutional, administrative, and public procedural law
- Lived flat hierarchies and a workplace directly at the main station as well as flexible home office arrangements
- The position is classified in salary grade 20 according to cantonal personnel law. Details on employment conditions, social benefits, and salary can be found here.
