What you can achieve
- Responsibility for the operational procurement of components, assemblies, and services in the medical technology environment
- Ensuring timely material availability considering quality, costs, and regulatory requirements
- Processing orders and comparing offers as well as price and contract negotiations for existing items and services with national and international suppliers
- Managing and further developing the existing supplier portfolio
- Close cooperation with strategic purchasing, production, quality assurance, development, and logistics to optimise procurement processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 13485, MDR) in the procurement process
- Analysing purchasing key figures and preparing evaluations and reports for management
- Supporting the introduction and further development of ERP and procurement systems
- Risk and bottleneck management along the supply chain
What sets you apart
- Several years of solid experience in operational purchasing is essential, ideally complemented by knowledge in material disposition or production planning in a manufacturing company
- Completed commercial or technical basic training, supplemented by qualified further training in purchasing, supply chain management, or production planning is an advantage
- Experience in managing production orders as well as a strong understanding of material flows and production processes
- Experience in the medical technology production environment is an advantage
- Very good ERP knowledge, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), as well as confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel (evaluations, analyses, reports)
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are a plus
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style with high personal responsibility
- Strong intrinsic motivation as well as a high standard of quality and solution orientation
- High organisational skills and confident handling of complex procurement processes
- Systematic and precise approach even in a dynamic production environment
