Real Estate City of Zurich manages an extensive property portfolio and operates daily at the interface of law, politics, and urban development. The Legal Service is a central point of contact.
As team leader, you bring an interest in socio-political issues, take on the professional and personnel responsibility for a team that you help shape, and actively contribute to the Legal Service. Start date 1 March 2027.
Tasks
- Organisational, personnel and professional leadership of the Legal Service team with 2 employees
- Legal advice and support for management and specialist departments on legal matters with a focus on public law, administrative procedures as well as information and data protection law
- Representation in complaint and appeal procedures
- Coordination of parliamentary initiatives
- Consultations and participation in legislative projects
- Assumption and coordination of the IDG/DSG officer function
Profile
- MLaw or lic. iur. from a Swiss university, bar admission desirable
- Solid professional experience in public law and administrative procedures from the public administration or private sector, knowledge of data protection law an advantage
- Leadership experience in a comparable position
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, confident formulation
- Analytical and strategic thinking ability
- Initiative, enthusiasm, socio-political interest
