About the job

• You plan, coordinate and manage elective and emergency admissions as well as internal transfers, ensuring optimal bed occupancy
• You coordinate outpatient and inpatient surgeries (including admissions on the day of surgery) in close collaboration with the OR management and the surgical day clinic
• You are responsible for planning inpatient chemotherapies at the Claraspital site and ensure a smooth process
• You conduct transfer reports, participate in interdisciplinary reports and work closely with doctors, nursing staff, case management, emergency, OR as well as internal and external referrers
• As a central contact person, you advise patients, external clients and internal departments on all matters concerning appointments, admissions and bed occupancy
• You record and analyse occupancy figures, prepare reports for management, ensure correct data maintenance in the HIS systems and contribute to department-related projects

• You have training as a qualified nurse HF/FH and several years of professional experience in an acute hospital, ideally complemented by experience in bed management
• You have a strong affinity for organisational and coordination tasks and are characterised by a quick grasp as well as an efficient, goal- and solution-oriented way of working
• You communicate appropriately for the target audience, enjoy interdisciplinary work and convince with pronounced cooperation skills as well as enthusiasm for a central interface function
• You act in a service-oriented manner, treat people with respect and have a high level of social competence in dealing with different stakeholders
• You remain confident, resilient and flexible even in demanding situations and take responsibility with a pronounced quality awareness
• You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form, good user knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with HIS systems; French and/or Italian language skills are a plus
