The Women’s Clinic of Emmental Hospital offers a broad, demanding range of gynaecological care at the Burgdorf and Langnau sites. We are looking for a

Deputy Senior Physician (a) 80–100%

Your tasks

• Inpatient and outpatient care of gynaecological patients at the Burgdorf and/or Langnau locations
• Independent performance of surgical procedures (laparoscopic, vaginal and abdominal) according to your level of experience
• Participation in gynaecological-oncological care including interdisciplinary tumour board
• Care of patients with endometriosis, incontinence, hormonal disorders and menopausal complaints
• Outpatient clinics (annual check-ups, specialist clinics)
• Interprofessional collaboration with obstetrics, oncology, breast centre and other specialist disciplines
• Co-supervision and training of assistant physicians
• Participation in on-call duty

Your profile

• FMH specialist title in Gynaecology and Obstetrics – or shortly before or after completion, explicitly welcome
• Basic operative competence in gynaecology; willingness to further develop your surgical skills
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and holistic patient care
• Independent, structured and team-oriented working style
• Confident demeanour and strong communication skills
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
