This is what you do

• Development, implementation, and management of applications in the energy sector, with a special focus on trading and scheduling tools
• Close collaboration with trading to understand the company's requirements and challenges and to propose innovative solutions based on your own technical skills
• Collaboration with developers and analysts to ensure the smooth operation of applications and their integration into existing systems
• Testing, debugging, and maintaining applications to ensure quality and reliability
• Monitoring and optimizing application performance and resolving any issues or inefficiencies

This is what you bring

• University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Ability to work in a structured way in a complex and dynamic environment, both in a team and independently
• Proven experience (university or up to 5 years of professional experience) in programming languages; C# and Python are mandatory
• Excellent knowledge of database management, knowledge of MS SQL Server is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of energy markets (or financial markets) and trading applications is an advantage
• Knowledge in system design (Windows Server operating system, application servers, networks, security)
• Fluent in Italian and English, German skills are an advantage
