Department Head Property Management (80 - 100 %)

You will lead the Property Management department both professionally and personally and be responsible for the professional management of our cooperative housing stock as well as our commercial spaces. Together with the two management teams, you will continuously develop property management.

Your responsibilities

• Personnel and professional leadership of the two teams (10 employees)
• Responsibility for the operational and strategic development of the department
• Ensuring professional management of our residential and commercial portfolio
• Supporting and assisting the team in demanding rental, tenant and management issues
• Responsibility for contract management as well as rent adjustments and other tenancy law matters
• Close cooperation with the departments of construction and development, finance, and caretaking
• Representing the interests of property management in construction, renovation and development projects
• Responsibility for budget, annual financial statements, key figures and reporting of the department
• Participation in the further development of processes, standards and digital solutions

Your profile

• You have a commercial and/or technical basic education
• You have further training as a federally certified property manager or a qualified real estate trustee
• You have many years of professional experience in property management as well as leadership experience
• You are characterised by an appreciative leadership style and high social competence
• You enjoy promoting and developing people
• You have good knowledge of MS Office and ideally of Abacus
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
