For our crèche in Mont-sur-Lausanne, we are looking for a permanent position (CDI), starting immediately or to be agreed upon, a:
English-speaking Supply Childcare Assistant
Your Mission:
As an early childhood assistant, you will actively participate in the daily guidance of children in their overall development, in line with the center's educational project. You will help create a caring, secure, and stimulating environment that promotes emotional security, autonomy, and openness to the world. On a daily basis, you will work in close collaboration with the educational team and maintain a relationship of trust with families, while respecting the center's institutional framework.
Main Responsibilities:
- Welcoming children and their families in a respectful and caring manner.
- Ensuring the psychological, emotional, and physical safety and well-being of the child.
- Exercising a duty to report any breach of safety and welfare rules, and a duty of prevention and child protection.
- Collaborating and communicating actively with the site management and the entire educational team.
- Sharing observations with the educational team.
- Participating in creating a pleasant work environment that respects the group's values and each person's individuality.
Your Profile:
- At least 20 years of age with a minimum of six months of certified educational experience with children or in childcare support.
- English speaker or bilingual English/French.
- Awareness of issues related to well-being, sustainability, and cultural diversity.
- Recognized ability to create a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaborative work with children, families, and teams.
