What you can look forward to.
An innovative working environment awaits you, where you can initiate major changes and thus contribute to the success of the SBB. Together with your team colleagues, you will develop solutions for current challenges and implement them as a team. Further training is also not neglected for your individual development. Night and weekend work is additionally compensated – for example, with 16 francs per hour for Sunday work. You also receive time allowances. This means you have more free time than employees without night and weekend shifts. Our other benefits such as child allowances, free 2nd class GA and discounted travel abroad – also for the family – can be found on our website under "Benefits" and more information about the profession can be found here ( Overhead Line Electrician | SBB ). Interested in learning more about our professions? We look forward to welcoming you from 22 to 24 October 2026 at our SBB Career Worlds Café at Zurich main station.
