Would you like to work in an institution in the heart of the city of Winterthur with around 200 motivated employees? Winterthur train station is within a short walking distance.

In our traditional and future-oriented long-term care institution Senior Centre Wiesengrund, the well-being of our residents is the focus. The privately run senior centre offers a living and residential space for 150 residents where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs.

At Senior Centre Wiesengrund, you have the opportunity to complete the Suitability Internship for Prospective Nursing Students HF.

During two days, you have the chance to get to know the profession and the associated tasks more closely. You support the qualified nursing professional HF in various competencies under the guidance of the specialist.

The suitability internship serves to assess the practical and personal suitability for the profession of certified nurse HF; it is not a taster internship.

Your profile:

• Interest in the profession
• Empathy, joy and patience in dealing with elderly people
• Resilience, independence, spontaneity, flexibility
• Team spirit and appreciation towards all people
• Personal responsibility, ability to reflect, creativity, practical skills and a good sense of humour
• PC user skills
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form

The following requirements must be met for admission to the training:

• Minimum age of 17 years
• Successfully completed vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) or general education qualification (DMS/FMS, Matura)
• German language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) or higher
• Passed suitability test for admission to the course

These requirements correspond to the admission criteria of the Centre for Training in Healthcare (ZAG and Careum). Applications can only be considered if all requirements are met.
