Accountant 50 - 70% SKAN Stein (m/f/d)
At a glance
In this versatile role, you take responsibility for the finance and accounting of SKAN Stein AG. As the central contact person for all accounting matters, you work closely with the finance team in Allschwil as well as various departments of the SKAN Group. With your expertise and independent working style, you contribute significantly to professional financial management and the further development of our organisation.
Your tasks
- Independent management of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting) including dunning
- Responsibility for the monthly closing (Financial Accounting)
- Preparation of annual financial statements according to OR and Swiss GAAP FER in consultation with the CEO
- Preparation and support of audits as well as preparation of the required documents
- Preparation of VAT returns and reconciliation of VAT accounts
- Execution of intercompany reconciliations and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Management and control of expense management (Concur) as well as the cash book
- Formation and reconciliation of provisions (vacation, overtime, bonus)
- Management of business insurances and handling of insurance claims
- Reconciliation of inventory changes
- Preparation of tax returns and support with tax-related issues
- Participation in the optimisation and further development of financial processes
Hard skills
- Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting (e.g. accounting clerk, specialist in finance and accounting or comparable)
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
- Sound knowledge in financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting
- Experience in preparing monthly, half-year and annual financial statements as well as in audit preparation
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP
- Experience with Power BI is an advantage
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills
