YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- You bear overall responsibility for production (70 employees) at the Frauenfeld site – from modernisation projects to repairs and overhauls of rail vehicles
- With clear decisions and high presence, you successfully lead managers and teams through the daily production routine
- You ensure that our vehicles are delivered to our customers in the required quality, on time, and economically
- You continuously develop processes, workflows, and resource utilisation, thus creating the foundation for sustainable success
- Based on key figures, you identify improvement potentials and consistently implement optimisations
- Together with internal and external partners, you ensure a smooth process along the entire value chain and report directly to the Head of Stadler Service Switzerland
- Work safety, quality, and environmental standards always have the highest priority for you
In short: You take overall responsibility for production in Frauenfeld and, together with your team, ensure efficient processes, highest quality, and sustainable success.
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Higher technical education (FH, HF or university) in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership and production experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the rail vehicle industry
- Solid experience in managing complex production processes as well as leading managers and teams
- Confident handling of modern production methods such as Lean Management, KVP, or Operational Excellence
- Strong understanding of business contexts as well as budget and resource planning
- Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and decisive personality with strong implementation skills
- Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills, both spoken and written
- Personally, you convince with your hands-on mentality, your willingness to shape, and your ability to inspire people for common goals
