Scientific Services Library Staff Member (80%)

Your tasks:
You can expect a varied role in a committed library team. You actively contribute to the further development of our services and support researchers, students and staff of the FHNW in the areas of information literacy, artificial intelligence and user services. Your tasks include in particular:
- Coordination of information literacy (IL) for the FHNW library across all locations as well as collaboration with the information literacy working group
- Support for IL offerings at Campus Muttenz and conducting library introductions and teaching units
- Evaluation of trends and development of (new) scientific library services
- Provision of services in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), e.g. workshops and consultations
- Planning and implementation of internal AI training for library staff
- Participation in specialist groups as well as maintenance of internal and external networks
- Consultation on complex research enquiries
- Participation in user services at the information desk
Your profile:
You are a committed, service-oriented and innovative personality with a passion for imparting knowledge. You enjoy working in a team, keep an overview even in a dynamic environment and are interested in new developments in the library and higher education sector. You bring with you:
- Completed university degree (Master's) as well as a degree in information science or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in a scientific library
- Experience in imparting information literacy and conducting teaching formats
- Interest in current developments in scientific work and artificial intelligence
- Very good German and English skills
- Independent, structured working style as well as strong communication skills and service orientation
