Since 1967, Albula-Landwasser Kraftwerke AG (ALK) has been harnessing the hydropower of the Albula and Landwasser rivers as well as their tributaries at the Filisur hydroelectric power plant. Since 1989, it has also been utilizing the hydropower of the Albula at the Tiefencastel plant.
ALK is organized as a partner power plant, in which the Canton of Graubünden holds a 5% stake (ALK).
The Government of the Canton of Graubünden has the right to submit a nomination proposal to the board of directors, intended for the ALK general assembly, for the position on the company's board of directors (cantonal representative).
Responsibilities
Within the framework of the nomination process, the Canton of Graubünden is looking for a competent and forward-looking person who
- is familiar with the context of energy policy at the national and cantonal levels and is able to represent the interests of the Canton of Graubünden and the Graubünden municipalities,
- has experience in strategic processes and can contribute accordingly,
- has an entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge of the energy economy,
- and has a connection to the canton or region.
