About the job
The SAHB is a nationwide Swiss specialist centre for the independent advice of people with disabilities and their relatives. We offer competent support in the procurement of aids and equipment and accompany people on the path to as self-determined a life as possible. In addition, we prepare expert technical assessments for social insurances and manage the aids in the invalidity insurance depot.To strengthen our team in our aid centre in Oensingen, we are looking for a
Mechanic 80-100%
Your main tasks
• Refurbishment, maintenance and repairs of aids such as manual and electric wheelchairs, tricycles, therapy devices, care beds
• Workshop administration, production planning, ordering of spare parts
• Telephone customer contact (order acceptance, processing of customer enquiries)
• Partly, repairs and deliveries on site are also possible in addition to work in the workshop
Your profile
• Completed basic vocational training in the fields of mechanics, electrical, automation (e.g. bicycle, motorcycle or car mechanic, polymechanic, agricultural or construction machinery mechanic or similar)
• Good technical understanding and manual skills
• Independent working
• Good IT user skills
• Physical resilience, good manners and social competence
• Interest in and understanding of people with disabilities
• Driving licence B (mandatory)
