About the job
Your next home base: Hotel 6000.
In summer 2027, Hotel 6000 will open its doors in the Tribschen district of Lucerne. 150 rooms, urban design and a digital hotel concept – with lake, city and mountains close by. At Eats 6000, in the lobby and in our meeting rooms, travellers and locals come together.
Before the first guests check in, there is much to be done. In your management internship, you will work directly with our Pre-Opening Manager, take on your own sub-projects and gain insight into setting up a new hotel operation. You will contribute your own ideas and help us turn anticipation into good times.

Your contribution to good times
- Get people excited about 6000: You support us in sales and marketing so that our new home base is already on travel plans before the opening.
- Organise stays: Whether individual reservations, groups or events – you handle enquiries and bookings for the period after the opening and keep booking information, confirmations and option deadlines up to date.
- Think digitally: You help build our hotel infrastructure with Apaleo and the appropriate apps. In Straiv, you shape the digital guest journey – for a hassle-free stay.
- Keep in touch with our guests: You maintain our online booking portals and respond to guest enquiries personally and attentively.
- Bring ideas into processes: You develop and document processes, standards and training materials. So that in everyday life there is more time for genuine hospitality.
- Help shape the opening: You take on sub-projects and support the opening planning – from task lists to appointments to organisational procedures.
- Your working hours are fixed: Monday to Friday, "8 to 5". Evenings and weekends are yours – for your own good times.
What you bring with you
- You are studying at a Swiss hotel management school and want to look behind the scenes of a hotel opening for four to six months – and get hands-on.
- Ideally, you already have experience at the front office or in reservations.
- You are digitally savvy, quickly familiarise yourself with new tools and are very proficient with MS Office. Apaleo and Straiv? If you already know them: even better.
- You have already gained insights into digital hotel concepts or the lobby, bar or event area? That is a plus.
- You bring business understanding and knowledge of hotel administration.
- You communicate confidently in German and English – both in conversation and in writing.
