We are the Foundation for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Adolescents Zollikofen - a private, politically and denominationally neutral organisation with a charitable purpose. Our task is to support and accompany people with special educational needs from birth to young adulthood. We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public mainstream schools and special primary schools, as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the support and accompaniment of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple disabilities or from the autism spectrum.

Tasks
You will accompany and support, in collaboration with our specialist and the teachers on site, a young person with blindness in everyday school life. This enables the integration of the pupil in Cycle 3 and relieves the teachers. Specifically, you will accompany and support in sports, arts and at school events.
Requirements
You enjoy and have experience in working with pupils and have an interest in educational and blindness-specific topics. You are empathetic, responsive to others and can express yourself very well in German. You have manual skills, are accustomed to working with different people and remain calm even in hectic situations. A strong sense of responsibility and willingness to further educate yourself in blindness-specific issues complete your profile.
Experience shows that the role of assistant is not compatible with studies at PH Bern and preferably you live in the Lützelflüh area.
