We are an established Swiss software company based in Basel and have been developing software for medical practices and other healthcare providers for many years. As part of the Helvero eHealth Group, we are modernising our products, developing new solutions, and further expanding our engineering organisation.

Your Role

We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic leader who is passionate about software development and new technologies and eager to make a real impact in a Swiss software SME. You will have the opportunity to actively shape the technological future of our established products ePaad and Secure2Go and to specifically advance the use of AI both in our products and within software development.

What Awaits You

• Leadership, motivation, and development of our development team
• Responsibility for operational software development and its continuous improvement
• Technological advancement of our products and software architecture
• Review of new requirements and change requests regarding technical feasibility and sensible implementation
• Responsibility for effort estimations as a basis for offers and price calculations
• Building, prioritising, and managing the development pipeline
• Planning and coordinating implementation within the development team
• Ensuring code quality, testing, documentation, and reliable releases
• Further development of modern development processes, tools, and standards
• Identification, evaluation, and implementation of meaningful AI use cases in our products and development processes
• Ensuring quality, security, and traceability in AI-supported development
• Close collaboration with the CEO, internal specialists, and customers as needed

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience as a software architect, tech lead, engineering manager
• Proven leadership experience or responsibility for a development team
• Excellent understanding of software architecture, APIs, and modern development processes
• Solid practical experience with AI and modern AI technologies
• Ability to develop a technological vision and implement it pragmatically
• Hands-on mentality and continued enjoyment of technical implementation
• Entrepreneurial thinking, high personal responsibility, and strong decision-making and implementation skills
• Enjoyment in developing people and succeeding together as a team
• Very good German and English skills
