Your Tasks
- As the senior medical head of geriatric and neuropsychiatry, you steer the professional direction and further development of the geriatric psychiatric services across outpatient, day clinic, and consultative settings.
- The professional and personnel management of senior physicians, assistant physicians, as well as psychologists is part of your responsibilities, including their training and professional supervision.
- Together with the interprofessional team, you ensure high-quality medical and therapeutic care for patients aged 60 and over.
- You take conceptual, organisational, and professional responsibility for the establishment of the geriatric psychiatric day clinic.
- By actively networking with care homes, Spitex, and other hospital partners, you strengthen cross-sector collaboration and promote a modern, patient-centred treatment culture based on the principles of Recovery and Shared Decision Making.
Your Profile
- A prerequisite is an FMH specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy or an equivalent qualification recognised by MEBEKO with the corresponding professional practice licence.
- Ideally, you hold a subspecialty title in geriatric and neuropsychiatry or have already begun the relevant further training.
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a psychiatric institution with outpatient treatment offerings form the basis of your professional and organisational competence.
- You enjoy training psychological staff and have a strong willingness to collaborate interprofessionally.
- As an integrative, solution-oriented personality, you combine entrepreneurial thinking and action with an efficient and future-oriented working style.
- Very good German language skills (at least C1), high social competence, teamwork, and personal commitment complete your profile.
