With broad expertise in physics, electronics, and embedded software, it takes responsibility for product architecture in many local and international development projects.

Your new tasks

• Responsibility for our global competence center Fire Detection in Zug
• Technical and personnel leadership of a development team of about 20 employees
• Support of experts and project managers in the conception and development of high-quality fire detectors, which are produced in the millions for the global market
• Development responsibility in the Agile Release Train «Fire Peripherals» as Scrum Master / Product Owner according to SAFe
• Promotion of global collaboration with other Siemens development and manufacturing sites as well as suppliers, customers, universities, and external approval bodies

Your talents and experience

• Education: University degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
• Experience and knowledge:
  • Experience in leading and managing teams and/or projects in an international environment
  • Experience in hardware and software development for embedded and sensor systems as well as in the development of mass-produced products (including design for manufacturing, design to cost)
  • Experience with agile development processes (SAFe, Scrum)
  • Knowledge in the field of fire detection technology and Siemens fire detection products is an advantage
• Working style: Goal-oriented, resilient, and motivating personality with strong communication skills
• Language skills: Fluent in German and English
