With massive investment in our Electrical Safety Solutions unit, from high-speed circuit breakers to voltage limiters, we are seeking a Production Quality Inspector for a CDD contract over 12 months.
Quality Control (QC) includes Outgoing Inspection and Production Support. It aims, through a process of quality, delivery, and cost, to reduce risk of non-conforming output (finished goods and direct materials). In addition, QC aims to increase production efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.
- To report daily to the QA, GE2B quarantine, ERP Auditors and identify pieces that do not conform.
- To report daily.
- To participate in the daily meeting (min-max of production lines, GE2B and quarantine, etc., training of operators…).
- Production support:
- To stay on-site during working hours, and provide support to Production.
- To listen and understand the non-conformities and identify the action in the report.
- To decide if quality is sufficient, based on requirements (internal, external) and close the job in the system.
- To perform In-Process Inspection (intermediate) during the production.
- To teach operators/reasons for the need of Quality required with individual feedback when non-conformities are observed.
- To ensure that the level of Quality required is fully performed for the quality of our product and to take action accordingly in the production process, training maintenance…
- To ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 15224, ISO 13485, and other relevant safety and health & Safety perspectives (for employees and customers).
- To report to managers (bi-monthly) and employees about actions taken in the area. Primary responsibility should be ensured, or HSE risks identified.
- To ensure the quality of output (finished goods) and identify existing gaps (completed quality inspection sheet…).
- To reinforce Quality service mindset with positive, and team-spirit attitude (“we’re better”).
Requirements
- Vocational training or technical certification in electrical or mechanical fields is a plus.
- Minimum 1-3 years.
