What to expect

As Head of Claims, you are part of the management team of the General Agency Bern-East. Together with your team, you ensure that our customers receive prompt, straightforward and personal support in the event of a claim. At the same time, you actively shape the further development of our General Agency.

Your impact with us

You lead our claims team both professionally and personally. In doing so, you create a trusting working environment, promote your employees and support their professional and personal development. Together with your team, you are responsible for the professional handling of claims. In complex claims cases, on-site inspections and demanding customer concerns, you contribute your experience and support viable solutions.

With your thoughtful and implementation-oriented approach, you further develop our collaboration and work processes. You maintain exchange with regional partner companies and contribute your ideas to the digitalisation and automation of claims processing.

Your profile

• Completed training in the insurance industry with appropriate further education
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in the insurance industry, preferably in the claims area
• Strong leadership skills and enjoyment in promoting employees and actively shaping change
• High customer orientation, decisiveness and enjoyment of personal contact with customers
• Interest in digital technologies and the further development of work processes
• A strong connection to the Bern-East region is an advantage
• Fluent German skills; additional language skills are welcome 

For this role, a qualification as an insurance intermediary VBV with the Non-Life profile is required. If you do not yet have this, we will gladly support you with suitable internal training.
