About the job
The Secondary School Burg is an attractive place of learning with a broad range of offerings. The school community comprises nearly 300 students, around 30 teachers, and about 15 other staff members, as well as the involvement of a parents' council. The pupils expand and consolidate competencies adapted to their learning level so that after three school years they can begin an apprenticeship or attend a further education school.
At Secondary School Burg there is a lunch service. It offers pupils a balanced lunch four days a week, delivered by Bernet Catering.

From January 2027, due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking for a
Your profile - we are looking for
- practical experience in gastronomy or group catering
- professional experience and ideally a pedagogical qualification in childcare
- tasks include: accompanying the children, menu planning and meal orders, reheating the delivered lunch, serving meals and washing up
- clean, structured working method taking into account food hygiene
- proficient in providing balanced, seasonal lunches
- independent, reliable and responsible working style
- enjoyment of constructive collaboration
- motivated personality, enjoyment of a lively environment and direct contact with school children
