Apprenticeship as a Hospitality and Housekeeping Specialist EFZ

Your Tasks and Prospects

You will work in various areas such as gastronomy, cleaning, laundry service, and hotel service
You will perform all basic housekeeping tasks, for example cleaning patient rooms, washing laundry, attending to our guests in the restaurant and at reception, and preparing simple meals
You ensure that all housekeeping areas in the hospital run smoothly and are responsible for hygiene
Administrative tasks and computer work are also part of your daily routine
You will learn environmentally conscious behaviour in all your areas of activity and implement it independently

You have successfully completed compulsory schooling by the start of the apprenticeship
Order and cleanliness are important to you, and you are aware of the significance of hygiene in hospital operations
You are versatile and have dexterous hands
You work independently and are also a team player, as you independently recognise where you can help
You are physically resilient, as you often work standing up and the workday can be hectic

We will jointly determine the focus on hospitality or housekeeping based on your skills and interests
During your training period, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments and specialist areas
You can benefit from support offers such as study afternoons, internal training sessions, and a comprehensive preparation phase for the final exams
Work clothing will be provided, and you can also use the free laundry service
You are welcome to attend internal further training courses and information events
