For our openly managed inpatient geriatric psychiatry with 17 beds in the clinic for geriatric psychiatry, we are looking primarily for night shifts for a committed
Certified Nursing Specialist Night Shift (a) 60–100%
Area of responsibility
- Care, support, and accompaniment of our patients during the night
- Ensuring safety, orientation, and stability in challenging situations
- Observation of the psychological and somatic health status and initiation of appropriate measures
- Independent organisation and coordination of the night shift
- Close interprofessional collaboration with the on-duty specialists from medicine, psychology, and nursing
- Proper nursing documentation and information transfer
Profile
- Qualification as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
- Interest in geriatric psychiatry and working with older people
- Independent, reliable, and responsible working style
- High social competence, empathy, and resilience
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
- Professional experience in psychiatry or geriatric psychiatry is an advantage
