About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing primary care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For the Radiology department of the Schaffhausen Hospitals, we are looking for you from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement as a Medical Practice Assistant with a workload of 40-100%.
The Radiology and Nuclear Medicine department offers a wide range of examination methods; conventional radiology, digital fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, interventional radiology, mammography, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. We work closely with referring and follow-up doctors in the canton of Schaffhausen and neighbouring regions, thus ensuring comprehensive care. Our employees are continuously trained alongside technical developments.
Medical Practice Assistant
- You care for patients during the examination and inform them about the examination process
- You are responsible for the timely execution of examinations in the assigned examination room
- You independently coordinate and plan emergencies
- You collaborate in the performance and case management of radiology
- You record the services in ultrasound
- You work at the various external locations of radiology
- You have successfully completed training as an MPA
- You possess high social competence
- You are accustomed to an independent, responsible and quality-oriented way of working
- You are a motivated and committed individual
