We are looking for a Senior Network Automation Engineer to design and implement cutting-edge automation solutions for network and service provisioning. In this role, you will develop robust frameworks and tools for the IP domain controller and create insightful reporting based on a centralized data store. Your expertise will help us ensure efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in our network operations.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

• Developing new and maintain existing tooling, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines that help manage Sunrise's backbone network and network services
• Working extensively in infrastructure as code frameworks to manage network and service configurations
• Partnering with network and data center engineers to implement new features and changes to our domain controllers
• Assisting in designing automation frameworks and processes
• Lead the review, resolution and implementation for the most complex technical issues and initiatives related to Automation of large scale network applications, data systems, voice and other technical products and services
• Build and maintain the "Common Data Store" by using ETL
• Design and create reports based on the "Common Data Store"

YOUR SKILLS:

• University degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• Expert experience with engineering projects
• At least 5 years of experience with network automation in a telecommunications environment
• At least 5 years of professional experience of Python, Pearl, PHP, SQL, RESTful API development, CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Advanced know how in the following technologies and protocols: IP, TCP/UDP, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, with a solid understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP model
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools and technologies, with experience in setting up monitoring for complex, distributed applications with a focus on StableNet/Cognos
• English - fluent spoken and written
