You juggle numbers daily, maintain balance even with complex bookings, and confidently bring monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to completion?

At BitHawk AG, accounting is not seen as a compulsory exercise but as a central management tool. As an accountant, you are not a marginal figure but right in the middle – where decisions are prepared and processes are further developed.

Your tasks

• You take responsibility for financial accounting, plan and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and carry out the closing tasks independently as well as in close collaboration with the finance team.

• You prepare VAT and tax returns correctly and on time.

• You are a competent contact person for booking, closing, and process questions and think beyond your own area of responsibility.

• You work closely with the CFO and independently take on overarching finance topics.

• You prepare reports and analyses that truly help decision-makers.

• You conduct our internal control system processes, question existing procedures, and continuously develop them further.

• You actively support audits and ensure the necessary documents and reconciliations.

• You plan and are responsible for inventories from preparation to successful execution.

• You contribute your own ideas, take responsibility, and together with the finance team help to further develop our processes and ways of working.

What you bring

• Professional certificate in finance and accounting or at least 8 years of professional experience in an equivalent position, solid experience in preparing financial statements, and a strong understanding of numbers.

• ERP systems are a natural working tool for you; ideally, you know MS Dynamics NAV or Business Central. The M365 environment is very familiar to you and supports you in an efficient working day.

• You think and act independently: you don’t wait for work but find it – and think tasks through proactively instead of just working through them.

• You like to take responsibility, also beyond the classic accountant role, and work closely with controlling, accounts payable, and other interfaces.

• You communicate clearly, enjoy working in a team, and ensure with your proactive thinking that things turn out well.

• Very good German skills in spoken and written form.
