Team Leader Tax Department 5, Front Office Team

Tasks

• You will take on the personnel and professional leadership of a team of nine employees and be responsible for ensuring the qualitative and quantitative completion of work regarding tax collection, assessment and tax return procedures, including deregistrations abroad.
• You plan the deployment of employees and organise, if necessary, together with the team management of the Services team, cover for the customer zone.
• You independently conduct team meetings and actively participate in team leader meetings.
• You support the department head in their leadership tasks.
• You actively contribute to the strategic further development of the division, engage in cross-divisional projects and take responsibility for the promotion and development of your directly subordinate employees.

Profile

• We are addressing individuals with a university of applied sciences degree or equivalent education and/or work experience as well as sound knowledge of Zurich tax law. You have preferably acquired this at a municipal tax office.
• Leadership and project experience are a great advantage but not a requirement.
• You convince through communication skills, presence and the ability to act calmly, solution-oriented and decisively even in demanding situations.
• You possess team and integration skills, sensitivity for people and situations and maintain an open communication style.
• You strive to develop yourself and your team personally and professionally and to promote the development of tax specialists.
• Besides your flair for numbers, you can express yourself fluently in German both orally and in writing.
• Your strengths include commitment, perseverance, independence as well as the ability to think beyond your own area of responsibility. Conscious time and self-management is natural for you. In addition, you are characterised by a high willingness and openness to change in order to respond flexibly and proactively to challenges.
