Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist as Project Manager Heating / Building Technology for the independent planning and realisation of demanding heating systems in new construction, conversion and renovation projects. You will take on the technical and economic project responsibility from customer consultation through planning and execution to commissioning and final accounting. In doing so, you lead project teams and heating technicians, are responsible for cost, schedule and quality control, and develop energy-efficient solutions for modern heat supply systems. The position combines heating planning, technical project management, customer consultation and team leadership with comprehensive responsibility for successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Heating project management: Independent leadership and handling of demanding heating projects from concept development through planning and execution to commissioning and handover
Heating planning and design: Development and dimensioning of heat generation, heat distribution and heat emission systems for new buildings, conversions and renovations
Technical calculations: Conducting heat load calculations, pipe network dimensioning, pressure loss calculations and hydraulic balancing
Energy-efficient heating systems: Planning and optimisation of modern systems with heat pumps, district heating connections, storage technology and renewable energies
Project and budget responsibility: Preparation and monitoring of project budgets, cost estimates, quotations, cost forecasts and final accounts
Team leadership and specialist coordination: Professional leadership of project teams, heating planners, technicians and fitters as well as coordination of internal and external project participants
Execution and installation coordination: Monitoring of technical implementation, coordination of installation work and ensuring professional installation
Customer consultation and project support: Technical advice to builders and clients on heating systems, renovation solutions, energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Tendering and procurement: Preparation of specifications, quotations and material lists as well as coordination of suppliers and material orders
Commissioning and quality assurance: Support of functional tests, hydraulic balancing, system optimisation and technical acceptance
Project administration and controlling: Management of project documentation, control of deadlines, invoices and change orders as well as preparation of project reports
Standards and regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, cantonal energy laws and technical guidelines of Swiss building technology
Qualifications:
Education: Completed apprenticeship as building technology planner heating EFZ, heating installer EFZ with further training as chief fitter or comparable building technology education
Further education: Degree as certified technician HF building technology, building technology engineer FH or comparable technical further education advantageous
Professional experience: Several years of experience in heating planning, project management and independent handling of building technology projects
Expertise: Profound knowledge in heating technology, hydraulic dimensioning, heat pump systems, heat distribution and energy-efficient system technology
Project management: Experience in budget responsibility, calculation, tendering, execution coordination, team leadership and project accounting
Software and standards: Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, CAD/heating planning software as well as relevant SIA standards and Swiss energy regulations
Languages: Very good German skills in spoken and written form
