Legal Counsel (m/f/d)
for the office of the Chief Public Prosecutor from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.- Overall organisation of the Public Prosecutor's Office: You support the Chief Public Prosecutor and the Conference of Public Prosecutors in all matters arising from the management and development of a public prosecutor's office. Clarifying and discussing complex legal issues and preparing co-reports and opinions are among your main tasks.
- Cantonal Investigation Office: You support the Chief Public Prosecutor and the management of the Cantonal Investigation Office in the strategic and operational conduct of proceedings in demanding offence structures (economic, structural, and serious crime), especially in legally and factually complex matters.
- You hold a university degree in law, preferably with a lawyer's licence
- You have broad legal knowledge, especially in criminal and criminal procedure law as well as administrative law (including cantonal law)
- You independently clarify complex facts and contexts legally and present them textually in a finalised form
- You proactively identify legal and factual problems and develop legally sound solution strategies
- You work conscientiously and efficiently even under pressure, setting priorities accordingly
- You are willing to participate in demanding investigative actions, final orders, and appeal procedures
- A high level of service orientation, sense of responsibility, and discretion are natural to you
