About the job
About the Position
As Team Leader Electrical Assembly at the GI Valves factory in Seon or Turgi, you lead a team of around 15 employees. In doing so, you take on a central role in daily production management. You coordinate operational activities within the team and ensure that assembly, testing, and logistics processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. You are the direct contact person for the employees and work closely with production management and other interfaces. Your commitment significantly contributes to achieving our production goals and continuously improving. In addition to coordination tasks, you actively participate in the assembly process (approx. 50%).
What You Can Achieve
Leading the team both technically and operationally as well as personnel-wise
Organising and monitoring production processes (assembly, testing, logistics)
Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements
Supporting the onboarding of new employees and conducting safety briefings
Collaboration with interfaces such as planning, quality, and logistics as well as documentation of production performance
Implementation and enforcement of overarching organisational objectives
What You Bring
Technical vocational training (e.g. electrical engineering, electrical installation, mechatronics)
Further training as a technician HF is an advantage
Several years of experience in the assembly of electrotechnical components
Experience as a team leader and good communication skills
German spoken and written, English skills are an advantage
SAP knowledge and experience with digital production systems (MES) are a plus
