Let’s talk about the role
The North Face is seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager – Apparel to lead our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) merchandising strategy across EMEA.
This role is pivotal in shaping the apparel assortment vision for our retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring consumer relevance and driving profitable growth.
You will own the seasonal apparel merchandising framework, aligning with Category Merchandising and Commercial partners to deliver compelling assortments for TNF.com, Retail Full Price, and Outlet.
Your expertise will influence global product direction and ensure our marketplace positioning remains strong and innovative.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Apparel Merchandising Strategy: Define and execute the seasonal apparel assortment strategy for all DTC channels and store profiles.

Drive Strategic Alignment: Partner with Category and Global Merchandising teams to build consumer-right assortments that maximize revenue and brand equity.

Market & Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to inform assortment decisions and GTM processes.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Retail, E-commerce, Buying, and Marketing teams to influence buys, brand mapping, and visual merchandising.

Feedback & Insights: Maintain a strong feedback loop with stores and internal partners to adapt strategies based on real-time business performance.

Innovation & Consumer Focus: Champion a culture of innovation, ensuring assortments reflect consumer needs and cultural trends.
What do you need to succeed?

Experience: 7+ years in merchandising or buying, with a strong focus on apparel and DTC channels; experience in sports performance is considered a plus.

Strategic & Analytical Skills: Ability to think long-term while executing short-term tactics; strong retail math and financial acumen.

Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and present strategies effectively.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and merchandising systems.

Passion for Retail & Apparel: Deep understanding of consumer trends and enthusiasm for driving brand growth.
