Job description:
- Independent implementation of features and user stories in a Scrum team
- Analysis of requirements and development of business understanding together with the business units
- Technical conception, analysis and design of banking-related requirements
- Development of backend components with Java and Spring
- Development of frontend components with Angular
- Further development and maintenance of applications in the context of EBICS, SWIFT and MBCLT
- Responsibility for quality and timely delivery of developed solutions
- Support of 2nd-level support and handling of incidents within agreed working hours
- Collaboration with seven IT specialists, two business staff members as well as other IT teams and business units
- Assignment period: 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2028
- Workload: 100%

Our client is an established Swiss financial institution with a modern IT environment. The agile team develops, operates and optimises business-critical applications for payments.
Requirements:
- At least five years of experience as a Senior Software Developer or in a comparable position
- Very good practical experience with Java and Spring
- Solid experience in frontend development with Angular
- Very good knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Practical experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience with agile development methods, especially Scrum
- Ability to independently analyse complex business requirements and implement them technically
- Strong quality and sense of responsibility
- German language skills at C2 level
- English language skills at B2 level
- Experience in banking or payments
- Knowledge of SWIFT, EBICS or MBCLT
- Experience with business-critical financial applications
- Experience in 2nd-level support and incident management
