In this diverse job
- you will be active in various departments of the CH Media editorial offices in Northwestern Switzerland (Print & Online, for example at Aargauer Zeitung, Limmattaler Zeitung, bz – Newspaper for the Basel region, Solothurner Zeitung, Grenchner Tagblatt, Oltner Tagblatt, and Zofinger Tagblatt) for two years starting in March 2025
- you will get to know the entire range of journalistic work and simultaneously complete the diploma training in journalism at the Media Training Center MAZ
- you will explore exciting topics with the help of your curiosity
- you will fully immerse yourself in a region and report in all journalistic forms "digital first"
- you will gain experience in the various departments of the CH Media editorial offices, at the online desk, and depending on the opportunity in a general department

- you want to become a journalist and are ready to work on it with passion and commitment
- you can demonstrate some journalistic experience, enjoy researching, are creative, and have ideas for stories
- you know that journalism is not activism – and that CH Media does journalism
- you approach people openly, think of your readers in your reporting and not of your "bubble"
- you have completed an education at the university / FH level or Matura / vocational training and are willing to work at different locations in the Northwestern Switzerland region
- you have very good German language skills and a broad general knowledge and are interested in what is happening in the world, in Switzerland, and in your region
