About the job
Since 2020, we have been successfully renting holiday apartments at Blattenheimatstrasse to national and international holiday guests. We are a team of dynamic women. We started with one apartment, and now there are several more offered on various platforms. We love showing our holiday guests the beautiful Alpstein and, of course, Appenzell, and providing a relaxing break in our apartments. Our team is very flexible, guest-oriented, reliable, positive, and friendly.
We are looking for you as a part-time employee for caretaker duties around the house, stairwell, entrance, and cellar area, each as temporary help during the summer months to prepare the holiday apartments for new guests. The workload for the holiday apartments depends on the bookings received. Our guests leave the apartments at around 09:30, and the new holiday guests arrive at about 15:00; during this interval, the holiday apartments are refreshed for the new guests.
Caretaking Duties
- Cleaning the stairwell, entrance area by the cellar, at the house entrance, and around the house
- Washing and freshly changing bed linen (non-iron) for the new guests
- Quick vacuuming of the entire apartment (surface cleaning)
- Damp mopping floors (new floors with special cleaning agents)
- Cleaning the bathroom including the toilet
- Preparing the kitchen again for the new guests
- Basically, surface cleaning every apartment so that it looks inviting and cosy for new holiday guests.
