About the job

Your duties include advising and serving our customers in our shop, renovated in 2019, located in the heart of the main street in Appenzell. You sell various products from our chocolate manufacture as well as the popular Appenzeller Bärli-Biber and other regional specialties. The tasks also include attractive packaging and presentation of the products, as well as co-designing the shop and general cleaning duties.

A completed apprenticeship, preferably in retail EFZ, and experience with food products are required, ideally with confectionery products. You are very friendly, have an open manner, work precisely, independently, thoughtfully, and neatly, and remain calm even in hectic situations.
Foreign languages are an advantage and desired (English, French, Italian or others).
