About the job

Schäfli Garage specialises in vehicle electrics and diagnostics as well as the service and repair of all vehicles of various brands, especially classic cars, lorries and trailers. In addition to work on customer vehicles, we are responsible for the maintenance and service of the entire fleet of Schäfli AG (approx. 30 vehicles of various types).

Schäfli Garage is also an official installation centre for the fitting and calibration of taximeters, tachographs and LSVA recording devices. Furthermore, we are members of the Swiss Vehicle Restorers Interest Group (IgFS).

We are looking for a:

Automobile Mechatronics Technician Commercial Vehicles / Lorry Mechatronics Technician (100%) from 1 September 2025 or by arrangement

Your area of responsibility:

• Service, repairs and maintenance of various vehicles (lorries, commercial vehicles in general, trailers as well as passenger cars) of various brands for the internal fleet of Schäfli AG as well as for external customers
• Customer reception and support
• Tire changes, balancing and storage
• MOT preparation for various vehicles
• New installations of all kinds as well as special fabrications
• Installation of accessories such as DAB+, multimedia systems, trailer hitches, etc.
• Exhaust maintenance for diesel and petrol
• Air conditioning and parking heater service
• Organisation and planning of work tasks, material procurement, documentation of completed activities
• Assistance with property maintenance

Your profile:

• Completed apprenticeship as an automobile mechatronics technician EFZ (specialising in commercial vehicles)
• Several years of professional experience
• Driving licence category CE
• Strong interest, analytical and independent working style, problem-solving mindset
• Customer-oriented, friendly personality
• You are reliable, responsible, and a team player
• Good knowledge of German
• Forklift licence an advantage
