To complete its team, the nursing management is looking for the obstetrics department of the HFR Fribourg - Cantonal Hospital:

Midwife or Midwife Nurse
Permanent contract - 80-100%

Your mission:

• provide comprehensive and individual care to mother-child couples respecting the care concept and protocols of the postpartum service
• participate in the supervision of students and new colleagues
• work in a versatile role: delivery room and/or postnatal service

Your profile:

• midwife or midwife nurse diploma
• minimum two years of experience in an obstetrics department
• proficiency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language
• proficiency in basic computer tools
• ability to work in a team and multidisciplinary environment
• autonomy, dynamism, quick adaptability and flexibility
• organisational skills and sense of responsibility

Tasks:

• You provide comprehensive and individual care to mothers and their newborns, adhering to the care philosophy and protocols of the department.
• You participate in the support of new employees and students.
• You perform a versatile role in the delivery room and/or postnatal ward.

Profile:

• Dipl. Midwife HF/FH or qualified nurse with midwifery training
• At least 2 years of experience in an obstetrics department
• German or French with good knowledge of the other language
• Proficiency in basic IT programmes
• Ability to work interdisciplinarily and as part of a team
• Independence, dynamism, high adaptability and flexibility
• Organisational skills and sense of responsibility
