The Volkshochschule (VHSN) is looking from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement for a committed and responsible person for finance and course administration. The position is ideal for parents or those returning to work.

What to expect:

We offer you an exciting and varied job that you can carry out independently and autonomously.

• You support the management of the office in course organisation and administration
• You appreciate customer contact, whether with course participants or instructors.

Your main tasks:

• Management of the VHSN finances including annual accounts and budget (Bexio)
• Maintaining accounts receivable and payable as well as payroll and fee accounting (Bexio)
• Advising customers and course instructors
• Member administration
• Creating statistics and billing
• Support in course organisation
• Deputising for the office management

Your profile:

Completed commercial training or comparable education with several years of professional experience. Knowledge in finance and payroll accounting

You are proficient in MS Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel, and have experience with accounting software and digital customer management systems (Welante)

You enjoy working independently, are service-oriented and appreciate contact with people

You are used to organising and prioritising tasks independently and handle temporarily higher workloads (semester start) calmly.
