What you can achieve
- Provision of clinical services for infection prevention and control in the hospital's various areas of deployment, including weekends
- Advising and supporting medical professionals in implementing preventive measures
- Development, implementation and monitoring of policies and strategies for the prevention of nosocomial infections
- Conducting training and awareness programmes for staff in the field of infection control
- Regular review and evaluation of infection prevention measures based on current scientific findings and regulatory requirements
- Participation in scientific, quality-assurance projects
What you bring with you
- Completed training as a specialist in infection prevention (HFP) or completed training in nursing (HF, FH or equivalent; preferably with ICU, OR or anaesthesia training) or a comparable specialised education
- Very good IT skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to understand professional literature in English
- Strong communication skills as well as the ability to convey knowledge clearly and practically
- Distinct service orientation as well as teamwork skills
