As a (Senior) Payroll Manager, you will take on the responsibility for the timely and accurate payroll accounting of our employees in Switzerland. You are the central contact person for all questions related to payroll, social insurance, pension funds, and time tracking.

Your tasks
- Recording payroll-relevant data and maintaining personnel master data during hiring and departures as well as changes
- Preparation and execution of the monthly payroll run
- Handling the associated administration and clarifications or settlements related to accidents, illness, maternity/paternity, family allowances, and AHV registrations
- Withholding tax registrations and withholding tax settlements with the withholding tax offices of various cantons
- Monthly processing of interfaces to the pension fund
- Point of contact for all employee questions regarding payroll, social insurance, pension funds, and time tracking
- Quarterly and annual closing activities including social insurance declarations
- Preparation of key figures from the payroll program (quarterly)
- Preparation of vacation and overtime accruals (quarterly)
- Account reconciliations, bonus accruals, and support during audits
- Creation and processing of interim earnings forms and employer certificates for the unemployment insurance
- Monthly absence and time tracking management (Mobatime)
Your profile
- Commercial basic education with further training in payroll (e.g., Payroll Specialist/Expert), further training as a social insurance specialist / HR specialist is a plus
- 5+ years of proven experience in payroll accounting
- Solid knowledge of Swiss social insurance law
- Knowledge of Swiss labor law and the application of payroll-relevant regulations
- Resilient and flexible personality with a flair for numbers
- Very independent, precise, structured, and efficient working style
- Team player with absolute confidentiality and a high sense of responsibility
- Very good oral and written skills in German and English, any additional language is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, experience with SwissSalary & Mobatime is a plus
