Engineer / Technician / Designer specialised in Sanitary Systems
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety at CHUV is looking for an engineer / technician specialised in sanitary systems with a workload between 80% and 100% for an indefinite duration, to complete its team.

Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Safety at CHUV (CIT-S) has as its main activities the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering, technical assistance and consulting within its extensive real estate portfolio of more than 250 buildings in the canton of Vaud.
CIT-S manages a very wide range of projects, including the repurposing and transformation of various spaces, construction or modernisation of laboratories, administrative areas, care facilities, meeting rooms, and many others.

Mission
- You carry out the preliminary and final project phases (SIA 21 to 33) and manage medium-scale technical projects (SIA 41 to 53) of average complexity and technicality, autonomously, within the hospital city buildings and external sites
- You supervise the work of technical contractors on construction sites
- You produce technical plans for maintenance and transformation projects using CAD and BIM
- You draft tenders and public calls for bids
- You manage technical consultants
- You prepare documents to ensure compliance with current rules and directives
- You work in an environment subject to a Quality Management System.
Profile
- You hold a diploma as an engineer, technician or sanitary systems designer
- Ideally, you have good experience in the operation of sanitary installations and/or sanitary construction;
- Technical knowledge related to hospital buildings, special or medical fluids as well as standards, laws and regulations related to the profession are also a strong asset
- You demonstrate team spirit and a personal willingness for self-training
- You master the main office and professional IT tools, as well as drawing software (CAD, BIM) and project management tools (MS-Project)
