For our staff restaurant and our Bistro 15 at KSW, we are looking for a committed individual to join our team with a vocational training function from 01.01.2027 or by arrangement.
As part of the hospital gastronomy, we ensure the well-being of patients, employees and visitors every day. Our operation is open 365 days a year and offers a varied and dynamic working environment where team spirit, service orientation and quality are at the centre.
In this role, you combine your passion for gastronomy with your joy in supporting and promoting our apprentices. You actively participate in day-to-day operations while also taking responsibility for professional and practical training of our apprentices in the field of system gastronomy.
Who we are
Your tasks
- Ensuring smooth service operations in the staff restaurant and Bistro 15 as well as competent advice and care of our guests
- Preparation, presentation and serving of food and drinks
- Performing cashier duties and billing
- Accompanying, guiding and training our apprentices in the profession of system gastronomy specialist EFZ
- Conveying and checking practical training content in everyday work
- Supporting and promoting apprentices in their professional and personal development
- Cooperating with the responsible persons regarding vocational training
- Ensuring and complying with hygiene, quality and safety standards
- Assisting with events and occasions, sometimes in the evening
Your profile
- Completed training as a system gastronomy specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification as well as professional experience in gastronomy
- Completed vocational trainer course / vocational trainer certificate
- Enjoyment in working with apprentices and interest in passing on knowledge and practical experience
- Responsible, independent and reliable personality
- Strong service and guest orientation
- Good communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
- Flexibility regarding working hours and willingness to work on weekends or at events
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
