About the job

The data transmission between you and the systems operated for the Senioren-Appartements Egghölzli Foundation (SAE) takes place exclusively encrypted. This ensures that all your actions and inputs are protected from alteration or prying eyes. The encryption strength is always adapted to the currently recognised state of the art.

After decryption, any further data transmission takes place within a private network – this applies to all data, including, for example, statistical access data or data sets/emails generated by web forms.

We store the following data:

a. mandatory data which we or our IT service provider require for technical operation and security (e.g. system logs)

b. mandatory data for specific applications or projects (e.g. emails, registration data, etc.)

c. optional statistical access data for analysing web access. Their storage takes place in anonymised form on the systems of our IT service provider using the open source tool Matomo. We appreciate it if you allow this – however, we respect any block you initiate.

You have the option to prevent actions you perform here from being analysed and linked. This will protect your privacy but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and improving usability for you and other users.

The following storage locations apply:

a. domicile of the Senioren-Appartements Egghölzli Foundation (SAE)

b. data centre and domicile of our IT service provider, Bern location

c. safe, Bern location (offline data backup media)

This list is exhaustive, i.e. all data (including, for example, statistical data for web analysis, email contents, etc.) are located at these sites.

Data is only stored on online data carriers as long as it is needed. No data is used or passed on for marketing purposes. Contact information
